Why:
NOVA (Nurturing Our Voices in the Arts) is an inclusive and accessible youth theatre program. Our purpose is to develop emerging actors, creatives, and production team members. We promote theatre for people of all ages and abilities in the community. NOVA is a part of the not for profit community theatre Sudbury Performance Group. This fundraiser will be NOVA’s first experience raising money for operating expenses including costumes, props, and theatre rental for the upcoming show Alice by Heart.
Tickets are $15.00 per person age 5 and up.
Children 0-4 years old are free- please order a “free” child’s ticket so we can ensure there are enough chairs at the table 🙂
Seating is limited.
For the Mad Tea, if you have any dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, etc.) please email to let us know [email protected] We will do our best to accommodate.
What’s Next?
NOVA’s inaugural production is Alice by Heart, a one act, 90-minute musical, inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Set during the London Blitz of WWII, Alice takes shelter in an underground tube station where she finds her childhood best friend has contracted tuberculosis. Alice encourages him to step away from reality and join her in their favourite story: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Other people taking refuge in the tube station become characters from the book, and Alice goes on a journey of grief, love, and self discovery.
Alice by Heart will be performing June 5-7, 2025 Show tickets are also available on Showpass.
